Growing up I was heavily influenced by groups such as Green Day, Gorillaz, Outkast and video game soundtracks. I began playing music when I was 12 years old and invested into a guitar with some saved up Christmas/birthday money. Throughout school, I enrolled in chorus and musical theater classes, where I began to understand vocal and piano technique. After graduating, I joined a punk band and created solo music as a side piece. I piece together and produce my own instrumentals with GarageBand on my phone. In 2015, I created a SoundCloud profile under the alias, “Rokko Ca$h”, which was a play on my little brothers actual name. Identifying as mainly Alternative Hip-Hop and rock, my experience in music, allowed me to exercise my versatility and the ability play in many genres. The memories and friendships I’ve made throughout, make me realize how important this journey truly is. Thank you, God.
