This album is a sole war neurosis.
NO WORLD ORDER – a lyrical and historical dispute with war, loss, doom.
Rokko Ramirez dared to commit to his own lyrical bent. By doing this, thoughts about World War I, which had been experienced by his own ancestors, he wrote songs with Lenny Sharkov, which the world has not seen so far. Each lyric is lyrical poem in itself, vocalized to tape by Eve von Klehi.
Rokko Ramirez plays all guitars and bass himself and is supported by Lenny Sharkov in programming. Recorded by Lenny Sharkov and mastered by Mike Wolff, a bombastic musical backdrop is marching towards the listener. Thus something has been created, that crosses the boundaries of modern metal and which idea and realization is nourished by a world war and its 100-year anniversary end until the modern days.
In one song Rokko Ramirez has fulfilled one of his one longtime wishes and has set THE Trakl poem to music. From the beginning to the end it runs like a common bloody thread, on which all horror of war is hanging, not just brushing. The order about it is that there is no order. And that’s the theme.
NO WORLD ORDER
All of this is a view into the human soul, in its whole cruelty to total curse. Through this a concept has been formed, which originally hadn’t even been planned to be so intense. Inspired by the enormous Viennese expressionism of an overstrained Georg Trakl, one thing has led to another – a catastrophic work of art – and more present than ever. rokkoramirez.com
