Roll Over Peuhkurinen is a four-piece rock group that started as a solo project with various guests. The band developed to current lineup in 2018: Veli Porspakka (bass), Einari Ailasmaa (drums), Timo Jokinen (guitars), Anssi Peuhkurinen (vocals).
Second album Roll Over Peuhkurinen II was released in March 2024 including eight all original songs written by Anssi Peuhkurinen. As with the first album, it was recorded and mixed by Tuomas Rantala and cover art done by Emilia Jokinen.
Group's first album Roll Over Peuhkurinen I was released in December 2021. The songs are written by Anssi Peuhkurinen. The (finnish) lyrics deal with topics such as mental issues, human relationships, fears and inner battles and other not so glorious aspects of life.
The band has played some live shows locally and plans to continue to do so to promote the new album.
