Experimental ensemble Roller Trio mix jazz, rock, and electronic music into their own unique improvisatory sound. Formed while the members were studying at Leeds College in 2010, the band features saxophonist James Mainwaring, guitarist Luke Wynter, and drummer Luke Reddin-Williams. In 2011, the trio won the Peter Whittingham Jazz Award and a year later garnered a Mercury Prize nomination. Roller Trio released their eponymous full-length debut album in 2012. ~ Matt Collar, Rovi
