Rollin’ Dice is a bluesy heavy rock trio from Athens, Greece, formed in February 2011.
Ιt wasn’t until the November of 2017 that the band released its debut album “Way to the Sun” with the greek Metal Hammer(issue No.395) scoring an 8/10 in reviews. The album was recorded and mixed in “Made in Hell” studio at Moschato, Athens, Greece, by David Prudent.
A month later the band performed its first live performance after the release of “Way to the Sun”, opening for V.I.C.(Villagers of Ioannina City) and Nightstalker in Piraeus Academy, in a sold-out gig. The band in its live performances is assisted by the sound engineer Kostas Fillipidis(Nightstalker, ex-Rotting Christ etc.)
Continuing the promotion of “Way to the Sun”, Rollin’ Dice found themselves opening for Iron Maiden, Volbeat and Tremonti in Rockwave Festival 2018. However shortly after that highlight moment in the band’s course, a serious health issue of one of the members forced the band to cancel their future live performances and postpone their plans of recording.
A year later, August 2019, after the health issue had been resolved, the band entered the studio to record “Reroll”. The live recording, mix and master took place again at “Made in Hell” studio, by David Prudent.
Having postponed the release of the album due to the COVID-19 outbreak, in September 2020, the band - after signing with the label Vinylstore.gr(Thessaloniki, Greece) - releases “Reroll”.
