Romain Dasnoy is a writer, composer, and producer — founder of Wayô Records and Overlook Events, two houses devoted to music and the unseen art behind it. Among the first to bring the voices of video game composers to Europe, he has worked with Nobuo Uematsu, Michiru Ôshima, Noriyuki Iwadare, Akira Yamaoka, Masashi Hamauzu and Hitoshi Sakimoto, among others.

In the early 2010s, he ushered Danny Elfman onto the European stage and unveiled the first Studio Ghibli concert tour with Joe Hisaishi, and created musical projects in alliance with studios such as Disney, Universal, Warner, Toei Animation, Square Enix, Ubisoft and Bandai Namco. Creator of official symphonic worlds — Assassin’s Creed, Elden Ring, Dragon Ball, Saint Seiya — he weaves new forms of narrative through orchestra and storytelling.

A pianist at heart, he writes where sound meets silence. His album Fractal Piano, with Steinway artist Nicolas Horvath, dwells upon the delicate geometry between mathematics and poetry, where resonance becomes memory and every note fades into a silent, darkened light.
