Rome

Rome was born in Dubai and immigrated to Toronto at the age of six. Although Dubai has a reputation for being a city built on luxury, Rome and his parents came to Canada with nothing. Growing up in Mississauga, he was exposed to a variety of cultures and music, it wasn't long before he fell in love with Hip-hop.

Rome had seen the genius and artistry in the rappers that came before him. Even when attending Canada's largest art school OCAD University and pursuing a career in design, he has always leaned on hip hop to serve as a muse for his visual artwork.

Rome is an artist in every sense of the word. He got his name from an early fascination with Greek and Roman mythology. Keeping that in mind, it's no surprise that classical Rennaissance art has always been his greatest inspiration. In a time where music is lazy and hip hop acts would rather be known as "rockstars" Rome takes pride in being a rapper. Rome continues to draw inspiration from classic rap albums to shape the sound of tomorrow. His upcoming release "Rennaissance Rap" is the perfect embodiment of that concept and sound.
