Romvlan is a product of MC rap, trap, heavy metal, & rock.


Born Braxton James Le Tual in Salt Lake City Utah 1998, Romvlan has always been intrigued with music & had an overall obsession with listening & playing it. At 2 years old he moved to Washington State, annually visiting his family in New Jersey. He originally wanted to be a rockstar, playing bass & electric guitar inspired by his father. Big influencers as a child consisted of artists from a wide range of genres. Some of these legendary musicians include Metallica & RUN DMC. It wasn’t until he was 12 when rap music took his full attention.


Being inspired by artists like Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, & Tupac, Romvlan at the age of 13 decided to pick up the mic & make a name for himself after gaining sudden inspiration inside of 8th grade detention.


After forming his initial rap group Juvenile Jams, then later being very heavily associated with the Olympia based rap group The Astral Bodiez, him & his close friend A-RoN formed the group Rip Tide. Originally called NorthWestWAVE for a number of years, Rip Tide & The Astral Bodiez dominated the Thurston County rap scene better than anyone had done before. Having a big reputation through out middle & high school, Romvlan was able to establish a fan base that was un seen for rappers inside of his home town of Olympia. This notoriety was gathered collectively between the members of Rip Tide & The Astral Bodiez, setting the bar higher for people from there area.
