Ron Hamilton, also known as "Patch the Pirate", was a singer, songwriter, evangelist, voice actor, and the creator and producer of the evangelical musical comedy series, Patch the Pirate. He owned and operated Majesty Music, a Christian music publisher from 1979-2017. He became affectionately known as "Patch the Pirate" when he began wearing an eye patch after losing his left eye to cancer in 1978. He composed hundreds of songs and hymns and wrote numerous cantatas, plays, and children's stories.
