Baltimore's own Ronald "Ron" Jay is an American Musical Artist in the Atlanta area who's Maryland roots have transformed his sound beyond the typical confines of today's Hip Hop and R&B singers. Ron seamlessly blends the deep soul of his cultural influences through blues, folk, and country with a strong undertone of the trap music you'd expect from the Dirty South. His moody and melodic verses mix with the rhythm of drums to create an energizing style which he holds on as his own.

Ron's background in music started at a young age with a strong foundation in rap music. His years as an aspiring MC prompted him to develop his unique sound as a musical talent. He learned to love Hip Hop and R&B music from his years in middle school, adapting his tone over the early 2010s to mirror some of his idols, Drake and Kid Cudi. These artist's meteoric rise into the music scene brought new life into Ron's music as he began adding new sounds to his repertoire. During these times he was able to implement the soft plucks of his guitar in his study into music theory. This adventurous change came as his focused shifted into a more underground and vibey sound which is symbolic of the lively Atlanta music scene.

Ron's success comes from his time in the community, spending hours collaborating within various churches and music groups inside Atlanta's booming music industry. As an outsider with true heart, his music reflects the feelings of the people.
