Ronja Katzman

Country pop singer and musical theatre actress from Switzerland

Ronja grew up in a family of musicians and her strenghts and passion in singing and performing became apparent at an early age. As a child, she began playing the piano, guitar and singing, and from the age of 15, she became the lead singer in two rock bands, where she successfully competed in local band contests. In addition, in her teenage years Ronja created a 50s acappella girls vocal quartett, with which she performed throughout Switzerland and Germany for 6 years. After graduating from highschool with a focus on singing and piano, she studied psychology at the university and successfully completed a 2,5 year course for aspiring pop artists as honor student. Then she studied musical theatre and has since played in countless musicals and theatre productions.
With her father and famous swiss musician Bo Katzman she recently recorded their new hit album „two of a kind“, a playful mix of pop, rock, country and folk, representing their individuality and different generations and influences.
