Poet Ronny Someck was born in Baghdad, Iraq, in 1951, but emigrated to and was raised in Israel. The Jewish poet has published seven collections of poems since 1976 (some have been translated into Arabic). In 1989, he received the Prime Minister's Award in Literature. Someck has partaken in international poetry events including Reading in Moscow (Russia 1994), and The International Poetry Festival in Jerusalem three times during the '90s. In 1997, Tzadik released his collaboration with NY-guitarist <a href="spotify:artist:17PS6mukckWnUN4DwilBBs">Elliot Sharp</a>, Revenge of the Stuttering Child.
