Rooftopapartment are Davester and Embravics ,

two multiinstrumentalists who share a love for neosoul , rnb and hiphop wit a jazzy influence .

Growing up in Kaiserslautern /Germany close to the largest airbase of the US Army in Europe there

afroamerican music has always played a large part in their lives .

Davester dad had and still has the large collection of funk and soul records in his house which has been basically the sound of Davesters

childhood , some sweet funky memories!

Having received classical piano lessons he started to produce his first tracks on a software that was called fast tracker ( basically the missing

link between ataris and fruityloops ) and his first band was having some sucess in the German hiphop scene from 2005 to 2008.

He went on to focus on mastering jazz piano and teaching modern piano in Kaiserslautern and online while gigging in various formations

throughout Germany and studying Mixing and Mastering with soundenginners online.

Rooftopapartment is a tribute to all the music that Embravics and Davester love and that keeps on inspiring them .
