For years, Rosewood Summer hid her passion for singing, after traumatic life experiences prompted her to believe her voice didn’t matter. After finding the courage to heal and to rebuild herself, Rosewood Summer started to pen and to record her own songs.
An eclectic up-and-coming artist, Rosewood Summer uses her music as a therapeutic tool to illustrate life events, with honesty and at times with a humorous twist. She made a point to use her music to address topics dear to her heart such as women’s rights, mental health, love, and abuse.
Finding her voice back and taking back the control of her narrative, she refuses to be silenced and fights for the voice of survivors to be amplified. She feels free singing about her safely anchored femininity and sensuality, braving the odds of trauma.
Through music, she documents her hope in moments of adversity, her healing journey and she longs to give a message of hope to her audience.
