Rossitza Milevska is a Franco-Bulgarian jazz harpist, singer, pianist and composer -and the first harpist ever to earn an official jazz harp diploma in France.
A bold and expressive performer, she reimagines the harp as a living voice in modern jazz: improvising, grooving, and responding in real time to her bandmates and audience. Whether on harp, piano, or with her voice, Rossitza explores the meeting point between freedom and form - drawing from jazz, world music, and her own lyrical intuition. Her sound lives on stage, in connection with those who listen, and often, those who sing along. With her trio, she performs across Europe and has shared stages with numerous artists in jazz, world, and improvised music. In 2022, she joined Ibrahim Maalouf’s Free Spirit Ensemble, while continuing to compose and perform her own work in solo, duo, and ensemble formats.
Listeners who respond to the emotion of Alice Coltrane, the groove of Avishai Cohen, or the melodic generosity of Richard Galliano may find in her music a kindred voice -not in imitation, but in spirit.
This is music made to move - ears, hearts, and everything in between.
