Emerging in 2020 with his EP <a href="spotify:album:4imTmi14ChthWEJyz2tYsv" data-name="Nightmares and LV Bags">Nightmares and LV Bags</a>, an alternative hip-hop album, this genre-defying young Canadian artist has gone onto mix rock, alternative, hip-hop, pop, hyperpop, R&B, and country into his releases.
In 2021 the release of <a href="spotify:album:343e6qu3GYTiwSQgGocp5w" data-name="nicky's basement">nicky's basement</a> pushed him into the rock/pop punk genre, straying away from hip hop music without removing all elements of it.
With the tragic passing of his best friend and cousin in late 2021, rossy released a tribute single titled <a href="spotify:album:5lekSWdoOEWNedSj6qThZA" data-name="kyle's song">kyle's song</a> at the beginning of 2022 which went down as one of his best vocal performances to date. After the song’s release he took a 2 year hiatus where he claims to have contemplated retiring from music.
During his hiatus he continued to recreationally record music until coming across a new sound that inspired him to begin putting together a new album.
In 2024, rossy returned from his hiatus with the release of <a href="spotify:album:6XvaOPm9THwnbE8JtirN2C" data-name="whatever you want">whatever you want</a>, a rock album he dedicated to his late cousin which marked his return to music and the continuation of his young career.
