R.O.T. were born in November 2017 due to Louis and Eddy's need to revolutionize their life, their way of playing and detach themselves from the musicians who had made them waste time in previous years. They begin to perform as a duo and find their perfect dimension... For a while they play with a keyboard player but continue as a duo. they perform without real bassists and drummers, not caring about the tics.
This thing will become their hallmark.
Changing genres all the time, they started with melodic death metal and evolved away from the classic metal sounds and experimenting with metalcore, deathcore, trap, electro, pop and whatever else they can do.
With their latest single "Zenkai" the sound also has nu metal elements in the rhythms and vocal flows. The band recognizes itself less and less in the metal scene, especially the Italian one and they openly declare that they want to be everything a metalhead hates.
