"Rising" is the first release from the NYC-based duo Rouge Way, comprised of Max Rewak on production and Rouge on vocals. The track is meant to marry club, rap, and electronic styles of music, and was originally written in 2019. Rouge and Rewak rebooted the track after the George Floyd protests over the summer of 2020 with lyrics and production that are intense and off-the-wall, reflecting both Rewak's and Rouge's personalities as artists, and with the goal of inspiring revolutionary change. "Rising" features additional production and mixing from Brooklyn's DJ Shiftee, as well as production from Zack Leever, and comes out on Day Off Recordings on June 25th.
