Rounz is a Dutch-Chinese-Surinamese DJ/Producer based in the Netherlands, known for his vibrant, rhythm-driven sound.
He began producing music during the late stages of the COVID-19 lockdowns, turning isolation into inspiration. With no formal training and no industry contacts, Rounz immersed himself in tutorials, forums, and DAWs, determined to shape his own sound from the ground up. Two years ago, Rounz decided to pursue music seriously, enrolling at the Herman Brood Academy, where he honed his technical skills and developed his artistic identity. Drawing on his cultural heritage, he blends deep, percussive house with soulful samples and warm, rolling basslines bridging past and present through sound.
Rounz has played club shows across the Netherlands and Asia and had his music featured in DJ sets at major festivals.
