Roxtar is a hard band to label.

Veterans of metal, punk, pop, and cover bands from southern Wisconsin, they bring new life and energy into songs your patrons know and love. They put a hard rock / alternative / punk spin on 70s rock, 80s new wave, 90s alternative, and modern music, while still keeping a fun dance party vibe. Their originals take the pop hooks of the 80s, alternative attitude from the 90s, and just a bit of metal and punk influence and mash it all together.

The stage show is professional quality. The lights, sound, and band commentary all come together to convey that party. This is a band who's been together for nearly 20 years and it shows. From local bars to large outdoor festivals like the Jefferson County Fair, they’ve done it all while still retaining their "bar band" roots and ability to entertain crowds of all sizes. They’re a band that's had its hand in more than a few 4am nights, encores, and rounds of shots and know how to keep a party moving.

Simply put, Roxtar is a band you want for your 25 - 55 clientele when you need a band to keep your crowd happy and involved.
