Sydney artist and producer Roy Bing takes his songwriting and production to the next level with a new nostalgic, pop-electronic track, ‘Met Someone' (feat. Banoffee).
Recently, Roy Bing surprised audiences with a sneak peek of ‘Met Someone' (feat. Banoffee), playing
it live for the very first time at his BIGSOUND showcases in Brisbane. Roy Bing’s energetic live show
included surprise guest appearances by BOI, and Nikolas Ilidias from Death by Denim to sing their recent drum and bass remix of the band’s hit song ‘Cigarettes and Honey’.
‘Met Someone feat. Banoffee’ follows Roy Bing’s low-fi, dreamy track ‘Dosey Doe feat. Olive Amun
& BOI’ which was added to spot rotation on triple j, and received playlist support with Spotify’s New
Music Fridays, Local List and Indie Arrivals.
In 2021 Roy Bing’s breakout viral single ‘Rabs’ feat. Ray ‘Rabs’ Warren, a tribute to ‘The Voice’ of
rugby league, climbed to #5 on the Spotify Viral Chart, #9 on Shazam, was added to spot rotation
on triple j, received a full add on triple j Unearthed, and received feature coverage on TikTok, MTV,
Sportsbet, Sydney Morning Herald, 2GB, and Channel 9. Roy Bing also hosted a triple j Mix Up set
in August last year.
Roy Bing is always working on new music and has recently been in the studio with a number of local
