My name is Ricky I'm the artist known as "R'To" which is a contraction of my full name Ricardo Torres.

Life Is A Beach is my latest work, the newest EP for my 2024 collection. My inspiration from this EP came from a day I spent in Long Beach. :):

My debut album "12.7k" is about my life at 12700 Van Nuys Blvd (The Nams) named after Vietnam because people would be killed their frequently. It's a retrospect on the times spent there/Pacoima transposed through instrumental beats.

"The Beyond" EP pushed me forward into the next phase. Additionally, I've released 2 concept EPs. One about ascending into heaven and the other about descending to hell.

I wanted to showcase that I can tell a story through music. So I tried to convey it using sounds/moods and overall &#34;vibes&#34; to what is being heard. I&#39;m heavily inspired by <a href="spotify:artist:6VzhvRyxJ2dDmZ51xLjEyl" data-name="Zavala">Zavala</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:21tDFddcOFDYmiobTcls2O" data-name="In Love With a Ghost">In Love With a Ghost</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5yKJAwjLJltKwd5xHyjX4u" data-name="Mark Redito">Mark Redito</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4iylWAhvTVtSVhIeAoM7Bl" data-name="weird inside">weird inside</a>.

This is a BIG contrast between my past.

I SMACKED the Bass for Fight The War and laid some THICC metal lines down

I shredded a bit for <a href="spotify:artist:2OZmZrFmRlrYmgi5aOvnRz" data-name="Normandy">Normandy</a> on a poppy-er note.

Shredded even less in Bridges To Burn, but I&#39;m proud nonetheless.

I&#39;m proud to expand my musical abilities and will continue to.

With that being said I&#39;ll be releasing another EP by 2024, BUT also I&#39;ll be releasing the first metal track to my ongoing metal/hard pop project <a href="spotify:artist:6Pdzxjv59VgMTPT22TEdTk" data-name="Take Her To The Disco">Take Her To The Disco</a>. I aim to be releasing that Summer of 2024.
