Ruairi Dx

Ruairi Dx is a San Francisco based electronic music producer originally from Slough, UK. Having spent his teenage years playing guitar in local post-hardcore outfits of debatable quality, Ruairi started making electronic music in 2015 while living in Hamburg, Germany. His music has been described as “rich” and “generously seasoned” and his debut EP, <a href="spotify:album:64dVjRIZ84Wy8AlTxoN0gk" data-name="Graves EP">Graves EP</a>, was released in May 2018, combining instrumental hip hop beats with future bass and UK garage influences. Ruairi&#39;s second EP, <a href="spotify:album:41Kiht5X4eTUvkLYT6NJrW" data-name="Waiting for Bad News">Waiting for Bad News</a>, released November 2019, is an exploration of uncertainty and dread, and represents an artistic shift into deeper sound design and synth-driven experiences.

Ruairi&#39;s music has been featured on radio shows such as The Future Beats Show, Silly Syl Radio and Night Swim Radio, as well as musical outlets such as Beast Koast, Le Visiteur and Goldswing Music. In addition to his self-released catalogue, Ruairi has also released singles with The Smile High Club&#39;s record label in San Jose and Phuture Collective in Portland.

Outside of the studio, Ruairi also runs a small website, howsmytrack.com, for musicians to get peer feedback on their drafts and demos. Ruairi will also send you stickers if you ask nicely.
