Created by <a href="spotify:artist:5jfqJx2w42uiykGALZuSOB" data-name="Secret Friend">Secret Friend</a> songwriter & producer Steven Fox, Rubber Seoul is an unique exploration of K-pop musical aesthetics.
Steven has been a K-pop stan from the very early days of K-pop. Yet his other musical influences go all the way back to classic 60's pop, 70's AM radio, and 80's New Wave. A distinctive musical voice has been created by combining these elements with the modern and energetic arrangements of K-pop's classic tracks. Steven is quick to point out RUBBER SEOUL IS NOT K-POP, and it doesn't try to be, rather, it's pop music inspired by K-pop AND classic western pop music.
Additionally, Rubber Seoul features collaborations with an ever-changing line-up of professional studio musicians, vocalists and producers. As such, each new Rubber Seoul release promises something distinctly different from the previous, creating a diverse catalogue of hooky and melodic bops.
