Rude

First formed under the name "Forsaker" in Oakland, CA. After a few years and lineup changes, the group changed its name to "Rude" and released the Haunted demo in early 2013.

Shortly thereafter, Rude signed to German label FDA Rekotz and released two full length albums, "Soul Recall" (2014) and "Remnants..." (2017) with artwork by the almighty Dan Seagrave. Rude released a compilation in 2016 and was part of the Live at Asakusa Deathfest 2016 (Tokyo) Split.

More recently Rude featured their single "Omega" on Metal Blade Record's "Metal Massacre XV" compilation 2021. Shortly after, Rude released long awaited "Outer Reaches" in September of 2021 through Dawnbreed Records (Europe) and tape distribution through Headsplit Records (US).
An interactive videogame promo by bassist, Jason Gluck, is included on the band's instagram (rudedeathmetal) as part of the EP release package to give a deeper look into the band's spacey artwork by Jan Buragay.

Rude remains true to their vision - blending unique influences and musical perspectives to formulate their personal recipe of death metal madness. Each release proudly dishes out the twisted sonic ambitions of the group during each respective era.
