Rufus the Tramp is a UK-based songwriter and producer weaving introspective indie-folk from a life turned upside down.
After losing his dad, watching his marriage fall apart, and diagnosed with FND and chronic pain, he found himself wheelchair-bound and isolating himself while battling depression. Writing lyrics became his lifeline, channelling hurt into hope.
Using AI tools, he’s teaching himself music production, crafting songs that are uniquely his own. “I sound great in the shower,” he jokes, “but for now, I’ll leave the vocals to AI.”
His music searches for light in the dark, rebuilds purpose and offers comfort to those walking through their own storms.
