RUL is an afrobeats Reggae Dancehall singer and songwriter living in Europe
In 2014 he started as an artiste in small scenes and performing on stage at mother’s church in France . Short after he shared the stage with a Ghanaian artist based in London known for his track “Dance for me”, Eugy, in 2016.
Rul also performed at the Fete de la Musique in Toulouse with the CDXX label. In the same year, he took part in Eugy’s European tour. This tour took place in Belgium, France and the Netherlands. He worked also with serval other artists as Deon Boakye, Fya Nya, Dogga Dogga and more…
He defines himself in a few words as a simple, ambitious, calm and serious person. His passion for music started when he couldn’t express himself, obstacles in life that came and found a way to express himself by writing and singing.
His favorite artists are: Morgan heritage, Kojo Antwi, P Square, Ofori Amponsah, Fela Kuti and of course The Wailers. The song he particularly likes is “Coming Home” by Morgan Heritage, which he says conveys emotion.
The source of inspiration of his music comes from women, society, friendships or love life. He doesn’t have a “period” that inspires him the most but he says he is inspired all the time.
Finally, as an upcoming artiste RUL is working on he’s new EP which will represent his creativity as artiste
