Joe Evans (Runningonair), creates diverse electronic music with many influences; including classical, jazz, film score and other electronic music. His music is inspired by futurology, current affairs and the human condition.
Evans has been writing music since the early ‘80s and studied composition at the RSAMD in Glasgow during the early ‘90s (Now Scottish Conservatoire). After eventually settling into a career in IT, he completed his first album “Out of Process” in 2009. During the 2010s he ran the Runningonair record label and organised live music events under the banner “The Ologies” in Winchester (UK). In total he has completed 4 albums as Runningonair and 5 as Joe Evans.
Since 2019 Evans has been working on his YouTube channel, creating technical music tutorials, VLOGS and music videos. He continues to work on new music and revise old material.
His latest album “Conspiracy Theory” combines an exploration of state of mind with the state of the world using artificial voices to pin the many styles together.
