The story of Rusted Nail band begins in 2013 when Vadim (guitar) and Sergey (keyboards), who used to play in other bands, decided to create an MDM project. After constant changes the band established current line-up in mid-2017. In December 2017 Rusted Nail had their first gig in Rockhouse club. As the concerts kept going, Alexander (vocals) developed costumes and special effects reflecting the song concept. That made the band's performances more complex by adding visual components.
In 2018 recording sessions began. The first single — Reborn — was released by the end of the year. In summer 2019 the first EP — Deviation — was released.
In early 2020 Rusted Nail signed a contract with Patriot label and released a single — Jack. During the lockdown the band continues recording sessions working on their full-length album scheduled for 2021.
