Rusty Tones emerged from Pangani, Nairobi with a relaxed flow that connected the dots between <a href="spotify:artist:15UsOTVnJzReFVN1VCnxy4" data-name="XXXTENTACION">XXXTENTACION</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6U3ybJ9UHNKEdsH7ktGBZ7" data-name="JID">JID</a> & <a href="spotify:artist:6l3HvQ5sa6mXTsMTB19rO5" data-name="J. Cole">J. Cole</a>. After contributing a featured verse on Fuego's number one hit "Like A Light"
he broke through on his own with top consecutive chart-topping album of 2018 "The World Meets Rusty"(capped by two ground-breaking soundcloud anthems "Boii Stop" & "Kenyan Boii").

when he dropped "Warning Signs". He then later recorded another single "SAFE" later that year.
Rae Rodney helped broker his management agreement with Introvercey Records(US), LLC. which released his "The World Meets Rusty"album later in 2018.
Introvercey later came back with two successful singles namely "That's Just Me [I don't know, I don't care, I don't give AF ]" which caught the attention of most Emo listeners who prompted a remix from <a href="spotify:artist:6Xgp2XMz1fhVYe7i6yNAax" data-name="Trippie Redd">Trippie Redd</a> but it did not happen and "Cannabis" which was never released but was leaked but close fans, which both featured beats from award-winning Kenyan producer Carrrpenter.
