With a reverence for storytelling, Ruth Teeling is forging a career in music from her childhood bedroom in Meath. From songwriting as a teen to graduating in 2021 with a degree in Songwriting and Commercial Modern Music, Ruth spent 2022 writing and gigging around Dublin, most notably supporting John Doherty (formerly Little Hours) in Whelans and attending the first ever Views of the Valley Songwriting Retreat with some of Ireland's finest talent, writing songs geared towards Ireland's Eurovision Entry. Her acoustic led sound, paired with raw vocals and catchy melody lines lays the foundations for captivating imagery and clever lyricism. 2023 sees Ruth heading toward her busiest year yet, releasing her songs independently and can't wait to continue writing and sharing new music.
