After making an intro in Bollywood as a producer & a singer Rutvik Talashilkar is steadily widening his approach on his independent music journey.
As an adept guitarist Rutvik started his initial journey, songwriting, producing & arranging for a lot of popular singers in India. Moving beyond the traditional material, Rutvik wanted to transform his sound and make music that he truly resonated with.
Rutvik started his musical journey as a 5 year old looking up to his father as a keyboardist. He was exposed to a plethora of musical art ranging from Jim Reeves, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Abba & Quincy Jones to iconic Indian Classical pioneers like Hridaynath Mangeshkar, R.D. Burman, Laxmikant-Pyarelal and so many more.
Rutvik has had a marvellous collection of Indian classical magic because of his late grandfather Ramesh Patkar. Patkar was known for his soulful harmonium skills & tonal rhythm knowledge about almost every other Indian percussive instrument.
Ramesh Iyer was Rutvik’s guitar coach.
Iyer had his early influences - Dire Straits, Lee Ritenour, Paco de Lucía, Santana & so many more, which was a different world for Rutvik.
Rutvik has been working on his own music since 2020. He’s released his two singles this year 2022 independently ‘Mehfooz’ & ‘Vaadein Nibha’.
Rutvik wants to revolutionise the Indian music scene, bringing in a different sonic-soundscape by keeping a balance between Pop, RnB, Funk with his melodies & his Indian classical knowledge.
