With its characteristic blazing fast breakbeats, the intense drum and bass style of Ruzer doesn’t go unnoticed. The man behind the moniker is Swedish musician and producer Niklas Ahlström. Born and raised in the university town of Uppsala, Niklas had his sight set on music from an early age. “Music has always been an essential part of my life and I’ve always been a creative person," he says. "Being a producer lets me combine both those things.”
With Ruzer, Ahlström explores a different side to his artistry by diving deep into this electronic sub-genre. The complex syncopation of the drum tracks creates a compact backdrop on which Ahlström builds the ferocious and frantic character of Ruzer.
