The RvB is a five-piece Rhythm and Blues revival group hailing from Ukraine,
known as Ruki’v Bryuki
Originally a Rockabilly trio, the band developed their (style) sound and with their natural instinct for roots music, the group began creating and performing their music in the year 2007 combining the elements that we hear today:
The grooviest Jump Blues, the power of 50’s Rock & Roll, and the drive of 60’s Go-Go music.
RvB was formed by Tall Guy Remez in 2007. Remez was the original Double Bass Player of “The “Wise Guyz”, a revered Ukrainian Rockabilly group.
From the snake-pit bars of Kyiv to the most prestigious festival stages of Ukraine, RvB toured hard, and eventually found themselves heading over the border and into performing in some of the major cities in Europe.
Constantly tweaking and improving their songs and sound, the band began writing songs in the English language, not only to relate more to their new European audiences. In the process, they also realized that the groove of their new music better suited the rhythm’s of
the English language.
RvB has released five successful albums and made festival appearances all over the
Continent.
In 2018 RvB released 78s record “Drum Beat/You Don’t
Care”, and in January of 2019 released album “Jumpin & Humpin” on El Toro Records
