Hello there :) My name is Abner Diaz and I am the lead singer, songwriter, guitar player ... I basically do everything for the band Radioplay. I grew up in the surf / skate scene in San Diego California and have always felt that music was the best way for me to express myself.
Radioplay is a pop rock / alternative band that first started as a concept back in 2018 during my Sophomore year of college. I was couch surfing with some friends in their dorm room and I couldn't find a job or a place to live. I knew I wasn't cut out for the average job, so I started playing music for money on the weekends at a popular park in San Diego called Balboa Park. Over time the crowds got bigger, and I started making ridiculous amounts of money in such a short amount of time. This inspired me to write my own music which is how Radioplay was made.
I have always been a firm believer that you can do anything you want with your life if you just believe in yourself. When I wrote Ride Or Die, I wrote it as a song that is meant to inspire people who feel like they don't belong. I am just an artist making music that will one day change the world.
