In 2018, Ryan Deedat ventured as a Solo Artiste and released his debut Single “Salimah” , a song that experiments with Listeners taste of music, psychologically , a genre-bender that got him top of charts , hitting the no. 1 spot on several local radio station namely Malaysia’s no. 1 radio station. The Debut single excelled on digital platforms , being charted top 10 in Malaysian online streaming

Ryan Deedat was nominated as a Top 5 finalist for Era Digital Music Award (EDMA) 2019 for the category of Best Collaboration Artist , of which , gave great accreditation and accolades to Ryan Deedat , putting him on par with all of the other best artiste in Malaysia

Ryan Deedat was nominated Top 5 for Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian ( ABPBH 32) 2019 for the category of Artist Baharu Lelaki Popular ( Best Male New Artist ) which putting him another step on top with other artiste in Malaysia.
