Hailing from Northeastern San Fernando Valley CA, with ties to Pasadena CA, Ryan J II is a special LA area rapper/artist who is making his way into the industry. He has always enjoyed music and had a natural love for it. He comes from a family with a musical background. Ever since Ryan was young, he was surrounded by music. He was heavily influenced by r&b soul at a young age. His mother would pick him up from school and would always have all types of r&b artists/music playing in the car. He would later succumb to Hip Hop. Ryan has a quite unique sound when it comes to his music. He demonstrates a raw lyrical vibe with a "New School Swagged Out" Delivery. Which he goes to prove in some of his well known singles such as, “Why Imma Thug”, “D.T.O.P.”, " and many more. His prioritization towards authencity plays a big role to his raw style if you will. When Ryan was in 7th grade, he had wrote his first song. But It wasn’t until 8th grade when he started recording in a makeshift studio in his bedroom. He felt that he couldn’t express himself and his feelings, so he started taking them out on a pen and paper to avoid emotional build up. Ryan J II comes from humble beginnings and plans on staying humble, remembering his roots, and keeping faith in God throughout his journey that people will watch unfold.
