Producer, Engineer, Musician and Songwriter. Ryan K Brennan, has spent the better half of his life wearing many hats in the Australian music scene. The last decade has seen him work as a producer and musician for artists such as King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Julia Jacklin and his own band Phantastic Ferniture. Closing in on his 30th year in life Brennan decided it was time to embark on a solo venture.
Taking things back to where recording started, he armed himself with a 4 track cassette recorder and began collating songs for his idiosyncratic 6 track EP "Moving Love". Written over a few months in gaps between recording artists, and touring, Ryan gained the help of a few close friends and musicians to complete the record.
Recorded and mixed in 3 days, entirely on the cassette recorder. The final result is an almost upbeat melancholic collection of songs reminiscent of artists such as Richard swift, Foxygen and EL VY.
"Moving Love" is set to be released in late 2019.
