Where sonic explorations meet the beauty of our natural world and contemplations about life is where you'll find me.
Across the Landscapes of Time is the product of nearly a decade of work. During that time, I spent countless hours honing my own sound and writing several hundred song fragments along the way.
It wasn't until the early months of 2025 that my sound began to cohere into a unified style. In addition to working through new songs that I wrote across the past year, I dug through old demos dating as far back as 2019 to find early ideas of this sound emerging. For some pieces on the album, I combined many song fragments from different years into a new piece, fitted together by a now clear vision.
The name dates back to a playlist I made around February, 2023. Not long after, I came up with a concept for this project: to create a soundtrack for a journey across the many different spaces we will inhabit during our lifetimes, whether those be physical places or within our minds, roles we find ourselves in or the countless version of ourselves we have been, are, and will be.
From going about our daily lives to reflecting on the past, from dreaming of the future to imagining the world that exists beyond ourselves and the world that will go on after us. This music is for everyone now and hopefully for many who come after us. One day we'll be gone, our memories will fade with the people we leave behind, but the music will remain.
