Hailing from the corn fields of central Illinois, singer/songwriter Rylie Bourne spent much of her childhood bouncing around from one bluegrass festival to another with her Dad, a guitar and mandolin player, where she gained exposure to the magic of live performance and developed her ear for harmony. Drawing from her early influences like Alison Krauss and Ashley Monroe, she is now known for her signature, smooth vocal tone.
After moving to Nashville in 2017, she joined forces with guitarist Damon Atkins to form the country/southern rock infused duo, LoneHollow. The two quickly became recognized for their tight harmonies, signature riffs, and moody sound. During this time, Rylie cut her teeth as a live performer, commanding dive bars to notable festivals, as well as sharpening her skills as a writer.
Her newly released single, “simpleton” is a love letter to her hometown, as she paints the picture of her upbringing. Co-written with Matt Koziol, it showcases a new vulnerability in her discography.
