Bursting from the stables to the stage, the triple threat singer-songwriter, actress and equestrian star Sabrina Durante is riding to the top with her new single ‘Glad It’s Not Me’.
With her sparkling smile and signature bejeweled Akubra to match, Durante is returning to her first love of country music after many years of treading the acting boards starring in theatre and TV as well as most recently as the leading lady of popular Gold Coast live attraction ‘Australian Outback Spectacular’.
“I've lived a lot of my life being pulled in two different directions. The support from my life on the farm and working with horses, to my love for performing and singing. Finding country music was the natural progression for me to be able to incorporate my two passions, and an avenue to express myself.”
As well as graduating NIDA and starring in stage productions ‘Legally Blonde’ and ‘High School Musical’ and TV’s ‘Love Child’, Sabrina Durante has a long history in equestrian, winning Australian National Equestrian Championships multiple times in the show horse discipline and being a member of the Queensland Dressage Squad.
Oozing with sass, yet with a soulful warmth, ‘Glad It’s Not Me’ ’ shares a first-hand experience, inspiring others to show the confidence and determination to stand up and keep moving forward. While featuring her trademark strong vocal performance that has impressed audiences across the country.
