Sad Girlz Club is your new favorite queer pop punk band currently split between San Diego/LA. Formed in Sacramento in 2018 when high school besties Shelby Murray (Vocals/Guitar) and Travis Dunbar (Vocals/Bass) connected with Eric La Febre (Drums) through IG. It was Punk at First Sight and they recorded their demo EP, Membership Dues, shortly after.

Their songs are upbeat and quick with thundering drums and big harmonies. They released their first LP, Hard Feelings, in early 2019 with distribution through Bomb Pop Records (Ramona). That year also saw them embarking on a summer tour with Lightweight.

In 2020, with most shows and festivals cancelled, they released the self-titled EP, Sad Girlz Club, which included some of their favorite unrecorded songs from touring. They also performed regular live streams in support of Pouzza and The Fest.

Their most recent release, 2021’s I Think I'm Ready, was recorded at District Recording by Ryan Perras (The Atom Age, Nobody's Baby). The 3 song EP about embracing change shows off the band’s evolving sound. Sad Girlz Club is excited to start playing live shows and festivals again in 2022. They also plan to head back into the studio throughout the year to release some new treats for the fans and work on a follow up LP.
