Safety Off is a band started in 2020 by Mark Anderson (lead guitar/vocals), Corey Skomp (drums/vocals), and Riley Stone (bass). While the band itself was created in August 2020, it's 2021 debut, Safety Off, was actually written and recorded over 14 years prior to it's release, having the pleasure of being one of the first records completely recorded to digital by Seattle-based producer Jack Endino all the way back in 2007, during the end of Mark's time in The Insurgence. Although originally slated to release on Swamp Cabbage the year after it's creation under the band name "Rale", Mark wound up disbanding the project early on with the album's original title being "Days Of Black-And-White" after its then-title track (now scrapped) and sat on the masters for the album for a few years, living in different places before moving back to Muncie and, after meeting Corey Skomp a few years later, decided to resurrect the songs for the newly-formed band, now calling themselves “Safety Off” and adding Riley to the lineup. Then in June of 2022 Safety Off went into the studio for the first time as a band and created "All The Same" aiming to bring back that unique raw punk sound. Enjoy!
