Born in Houston, Texas, Sage Bishop grew up in tough conditions as his parents drug addictions & habits grew stronger. Bishop eventually moved into his grandfather’s house where he was raised for a majority of his life. Being 14 with a child on the way gave Bishop the thought to start writing rap lyrics. Not only are Sage’s parents addicts but they are also very violent people who have inflicted major traumas on both of their sons & he displays many of the emotions that come with such traumas in his music. It is easy to see that he has suffered great pain in his life when you listen to his music but is also able to balance it out with knowledge he has learned from his struggle. Many could say that Sage Bishop could very well be a combination of $uicideboy$, Lil Peep, Maxo Kream, Bones, Z-Ro & Young Dolph. Bishop Francis, also heavily influenced by rock music has been tapping into his inner punk and released his first punk rock song “Tension” Early 2021, followed by his metal trap single “Drugged Out Uptown” and concluding 2021 with his album “Let’s Deteriorate Together In A Garden of Flowers”. Speed it up to 2022 and you can see how Sage Bishop was determined to make some noise with his projects “Isolated”, “Trill TX” and “Feudal Age” following “Boss Mane Bishop” & “</3” in 2023. We truly never know what to expect from him as an artist so the real question is what is next to come from Sage Bishop?
