Saihs

In the Italian music scene, “Saíhs” is one of the most recognized emerging jazz ensembles on a national level. The sextet, founded in Florence in 2023 ,won First Prize at the “Chicco Bettinardi” jazz band competition in February 2024 and, in July 2023, took First Prize at the group competition organized by the Eddie Lang Jazz Festival. In January 2025 took the First Prize at the First edition of the "Alberto Alberti" national competion for jazz bands. Thanks to the prize, "Saihs" managed to publish their first album "Distopia" with the Italian label "Gleam Records" by Angelo Mastronardi. “Saíhs”has also made it to the final stages of some of Italy’s most prestigious jazz band competitions, such as Premio Isio Saba, Barga Jazz Contest, Fara Jazz Contest, Nu Jazz Contest, and Onyx Jazz Contest. They recently win the First Prize at Conad Jazz Contest.
