A collaboration between Polish pianist and composer Michał Salamon and New Zealand vocalist and songwriter, Kev Fitzsimons.
Classic indie songwriting fuses with jazz-inflected arrangements, plus elements of pop and club music, bringing together influences as diverse as Brad Mehldau, Andrzej Zaucha, Gregory Porter, David Bowie, Leonard Cohen, and Thom Yorke.
The sound created by this international duo reflects the individual experiences, originality, and quality of each artist.
Their direction is based on two fundamental pillars - the first the distinctive timbre of Fitzsimons' voice, characterized by the rare depth of a male baritone in the style of Nick Cave or David Bowie.
The second is Salamon's piano, whose tone and sublime economy of playing makes space for Fitzsimons' vocals. This is lyrical and musical poetry, presented in contemporary language, both in terms of text and sound.
