Salient Facts started in 2018 when Tom Gradwell incorporated a mini recording studio into his new home office. He enjoyed the freedom and creativity it gave him so much, he made the decision to give up the life of a gigging musician, and so left the bands he’d been part of for the last 20 years.
With the accent on reimagined cover versions of popular songs, usually with an orchestral twist, Tom collaborates with a growing number of singers and musicians, either in his studio (affectionately known as the Love Shack), or remotely.
“Receiving a WeTransfer email containing files from a musician who could be anywhere in the world is a delight I hope I never tire of”, Tom says. “Slotting a vocal or instrument into place and hearing it for the first time in the track is just the most awesome experience!”
