Salinas is a Miami‑based alternative rock duo formed by Alexis Salinas (bass player, multi‑instrumentalist, and songwriter) and Humberto Pérez (lead guitarist, producer, and songwriter). Drawing from Rock, and the classic English Invasion, the band blends melodic hooks with atmospheric guitar work.
Both musicians previously played in the Venezuelan band La Pipa Freak, produced by Argentinian artist Javier Calamaro. Alexis also recorded with MHALL under the production of Diego Márquez, while Humberto serves as the lead guitarist for Jason Newsted.
Salinas combines these experiences into a sound defined by expressive guitars, bass‑driven arrangements, and a collaborative creative approach.
