Salmon On A Leash is a young, fresh rock band from Rotterdam, known for its blend of grunge, modern rock, and indie. Drawing inspiration from bands such as Nothing But Thieves, Arctic Monkeys, and the Foo Fighters, Salmon On A Leash manages to create its own distinctive sound. For Stijn, Daan, and Liam, making live music is a means of expressing their emotions. When the band entered the studio, they aimed to capture that live energy, resulting in their debut EP "Salmonidae" – a collection of songs that reveal their vulnerable yet powerful side. Through their music, they aspire to tell a story and inspire people. In their live shows, they generate an energy that is hard to match. Despite being a trio, they sound as if there are six of them. Salmon On A Leash is here to show that rock is still very much alive.
