Salon Perdu

Salon Perdu is a Dutch singer-songwriter who did rediscover her love for singing and playing guitar after years of silence. Almost self-taught, with songs from the heart, Salon Perdu reflects her inner world and reaches out to her listeners. 'Salon perdu' (a mirror tent) can be translated as ‘forgotten room’. While as a child you often already know and feel clearly which path you want to walk in life. You know the depths of your soul, but you lose that sharp look as you get older. You lose sight of your dream and your path. You put the thoughts in a room in your head or in your heart and forget about this room. You can forget the existence of your dream, but when you're lucky you'll find your way back to it.

In the summer of 2024, ‘On the Line’ was followed up with songs recorded for the EP ‘Under the Waves’, which will be released December 2024. Under the name ‘Salon Perdu, in reference to my recovered path & a place to reflect my reality.
